Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Lymes, a service of MyloTech, Inc. (“Lymes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides an AI health companion (the “App”) and this website (the “Site”). Your health data is the product we protect, not the product we sell. This policy explains what we collect, where it goes, and the controls you have — for both the Site and the App. It is written to be read. By using the Site, submitting your email, or using the App, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
The App and beta are currently offered in the United States only. Consumer health data collected through the App is also covered by our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Part I — This website & the beta waitlist
1. Information we collect on the Site
Information you give us
- Email address — when you join the beta waitlist, so we can send you a TestFlight invitation and related beta communications.
- Messages — any information you include if you contact us by email.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage data using cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel and analytics tools):
- Device and browser information (e.g., browser type, operating system, device type);
- Approximate location derived from your IP address;
- Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and on-site actions such as submitting the signup form;
- Identifiers set by cookies and advertising/analytics pixels.
We do not collect health, biometric, or wearable data through this website. Health data lives in the App and is covered in Part II below.
2. How we use Site information
- To add you to the beta waitlist and send you a TestFlight invitation and beta updates;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To measure, analyze, and optimize our marketing and advertising (including ads on Meta platforms);
- To respond to your inquiries;
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
3. Advertising, the Meta Pixel & analytics
We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the Site and to measure and improve our advertising. These technologies set cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device/browser details, the pages and actions you take on the Site (for example, a completed signup), and identifiers.
This information may be shared with Meta and used to measure ad performance, to show you relevant ads on Meta products (such as Facebook and Instagram), and to build audiences for advertising. Meta’s processing of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage how ads are shown to you in your Meta ad settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the DAA or NAI opt-out tools.
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use this data to track you across other sites. The Meta Pixel runs on this Site only — never inside the App.
4. Who we share Site information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our beta, and only as needed to provide their services:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Securely stores beta-waitlist email addresses |
| Vercel | Website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics |
| Meta Platforms | Advertising measurement and delivery (Meta Pixel) |
| Apple (TestFlight) | Distribution of the beta app to invited testers |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lymes or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Part II — The Lymes app
5. What the App collects
- Account — your email address and name, via our sign-in provider (Clerk).
- Health data you choose to share — Apple Health data (sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate) if you grant HealthKit access; wearable data if you connect a device; lab reports, photos, voice notes, and messages you send to the App.
- Usage analytics — coarse product events (e.g. “onboarding completed,” “message sent”) with no message text and no health values.
6. How your health data is used
Your data is used for exactly one purpose: generating your own insights, answers, and summaries inside the App.
- HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers.
- Your data is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else’s.
- We show you numbers computed from your own data; the AI never invents them.
7. Who processes your App data (sub-processors)
Lymes runs on a small set of infrastructure providers, each processing only what its role requires:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Convex | Our database and backend. All app data lives here, encrypted in transit and at rest. |
| Clerk | Sign-in and account identity. |
| Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) | The AI models that generate responses. Relevant parts of your data are sent to these APIs to produce your answer, under agreements that prohibit training on your data. |
| Junction (Vital) | Wearable-device connections and lab integrations, only if you connect a device or order a panel. |
| Expo | Push-notification delivery (a device token, notification content). |
| PostHog | Product analytics (event names and flags only; no message text, no health values). Crash reports contain code stack traces, never your content. |
8. What we deliberately do not do
- No advertising, no ad SDKs, no cross-app tracking in the App.
- No selling or renting data, ever.
- No diagnosis: Lymes is a wellness companion, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. For emergencies it points you to crisis and emergency resources.
9. Your controls in the App
- Export — Settings → Export gives you your data.
- Delete — Settings → “Delete my data” schedules permanent deletion of your account and all your data in 7 days (you can cancel any time in that window by signing back in). Deletion removes your data from our database, your sign-in identity, and connected integrations.
- HealthKit — you can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings; Lymes never writes to Apple Health.
General
10. Data retention
We keep beta-waitlist emails for as long as needed to run the beta and to contact you about Lymes, until you ask us to delete your information or withdraw consent. App data is retained until you delete it (see “Your controls in the App”). Automatically collected analytics and advertising data are retained according to our providers’ standard retention periods.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA/UK, these rights arise under the GDPR/UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” — and as noted above, we do not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at worthenbenton@gmail.com. We answer data-rights requests (access, deletion, correction) within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from beta emails at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us.
12. Cookies & your choices
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising as described in Part I. You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad tracking through the opt-out tools linked in Section 3. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal; where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.
13. Children’s privacy
The Site, App, and beta are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. International users
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site or App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest for App data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
