Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Lyme (“Lyme,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a personalized health-experimentation app and this website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or join our beta waitlist, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting your email, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage data using cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel and analytics tools):

We do not collect health, biometric, or wearable data through this website. Information processed inside the Lyme app is governed by separate in-app privacy disclosures.

2. How we use your information

3. Advertising, the Meta Pixel & analytics

We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the Site and to measure and improve our advertising. These technologies set cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device/browser details, the pages and actions you take on the Site (for example, a completed signup), and identifiers.

This information may be shared with Meta and used to measure ad performance, to show you relevant ads on Meta products (such as Facebook and Instagram), and to build audiences for advertising. Meta’s processing of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage how ads are shown to you in your Meta ad settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the DAA or NAI opt-out tools.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use this data to track you across other sites.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our beta, and only as needed to provide their services:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lyme or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data retention

We keep beta-waitlist emails for as long as needed to run the beta and to contact you about Lyme, until you ask us to delete your information or withdraw consent. Automatically collected analytics and advertising data are retained according to our providers’ standard retention periods.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA/UK, these rights arise under the GDPR/UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” — and as noted above, we do not sell your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at worthenbenton@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from beta emails at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us.

7. Cookies & your choices

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad tracking through the opt-out tools linked in Section 3. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal; where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site and beta are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
